This 3-day training program starts with an overview of basic drive theory and Magnetek IMPULSE products as used in overhead material handling applications. From there we move into programming the IMPULSE®•G+ Mini, and the IMPULSE®•G+ Series 4 drives in both V/F and open loop vector mode.  The next area covered is theory and programming of our closed loop IMPULSE®•VG+ Series drives. The training session concludes with a discussion of troubleshooting tips and tricks on Magnetek adjustable frequency crane controls and a practical “Hands-on” test.

    • Hands on with IMPULSE•Link 4.1

     Day Three

    • IMPULSE•VG+ Series 4
      • Theory of Closed Loop Control of VG+ Drive
      • Drive Specification
      • Key Pad Functionality
      • Programming
      • Troubleshooting
    • Practical hands-on test
    • Wiring/programming simulated crane

    STUDENTS WILL RECEIVE:

    • Certificate of course completion

    Class Registration

    Magnetek reserves the right to cancel training if a minimum number of registrations is not met three weeks prior to the date of the session. Given this possibility, if you plan to fly, please do not book your flight too early. In the event of a cancelled session, you will be invited to attend another training session at a later date.

    Each day of training is a full day session that will run from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Lunch and beverages will be provided during all of the sessions. If you have food allergies or are on a special diet, please email us in advance so that we can make arrangements to accommodate.
